Chemical Formulas

Today in Science, 10R was learning about chemical formulas.  

For a recap on our lesson, can students in 10R reply to the post by telling us the answers for the following metals.  

Write the name of the metal and then the symbol.  Add an example of where you might find that metal in the modern world.  For example;

The symbol for Gold is Au.  Gold is often used for jewellery, it's used as currency but there are other uses we don't often think about.  For example gold teeth, and even in iPhones.   

What is the symbol for the following metals.  

• Magnesium
• Sodium
• Aluminium
• Silver
• Lithium
• Lead
• Gold
• Platinum

What is the formula for the following;

• Sulfuric Acid
• Nitric Acid
• Hydrochloric Acid

Our first post for 2022

Today, 10R are learning how to bookmark their blog, write and publish a blog post.  For many in the class, this lesson will just be a recap, but for some it is still quite new.
